The “Shocked” collection consists of 30 hand-made sculptures in the shape of humans, created by combining old materials such as wood and metal. This collection aims to evoke a sense of past history in the audience while also reflecting on the current state of human life.

We have aimed to take our audience on a journey to the past by creating these artworks that incorporate various elements such as old wood, worn shoes, and rusted metals like horseshoes. Along with an artistic appearance, we want the viewer to experience the traditional life of those born decades ago.

“Shocked” includes sculptures of men and women with surprised expressions, highlighting the rapid shift from traditional to modern life. This deep astonishment conveys the excessive complexity and difficulty of this fundamental change.
